Jiang Taeko
Taeko spent her childhood watching her father in all things, learning to work the forge and how to fight. When the war that tore Zelmesca apart took him from her and put her out on the street she retooled the skills she learned to make a living for herself and the other street urchins and orphans she spent all her time with.
Taeko is often a guardian for those she becomes attached to, using either magic or martial arts to ensure their safety. She has a tendency to be upbeat and positive in most things and does whatever she can to assist Azade in her day to day work, admiring the woman greatly. Though highly skilled and capable of taking care of business for either the First or for Myanna directly, Taeko has a wild side as well and has been known to openly indulge her perverted impulses with reckless abandon when the opportunity presents itself.
Taeko is open and honest to a fault, managing to get along with nearly everyone in Myanna’s Garden most of the time. Though she has been known to grate on the nerves of the more serious minded enforcers that Azade is partial to, her ability to talk with her fists when the need arises has earned her a grudging respect from each of them.
